Arborists (or tree service professionals) are not afraid of height. They are used to hanging from a rope sometimes up to 100 feet in the air, swinging from branch to branch. They are often using tools like chainsaws so they go through intense safety training to make sure they don’t cut their harnesses or any necessary lines.
Becoming a tree service professional isn’t for everyone, but if you love nature and don’t mind heights, being an arborist might be right for you. You can go to school to become an arborist for 4 years and spend summers interning with arborist companies to get experienced and comfortable with the profession.
